1. chips terminations and attenuators
diconex introduced the first chips resistive products in 1996. these products are designed for big volumes applications like drop¡¯in isolators typically used in mobile telecommunication base stations. it includes al2o3/aln/beo numerous loads and attenuators. these resistive products are optimized for gsm/dcs/pcn&umts frequency ranges. all products comply with rohs and weee european directives. beo products or aln products which are now a real alternative, are recommended for high power applications. al2o3 products can be a good choice for low cost solutions.

2. flangeless terminations, resistors and attenuators
the flangeless line completes the chip line range of resistive products. most of the products exist in the both versions. diconex offers now a new concept for the flangeless line: the chip-tab. the chip ¨Ctab products is a chip with a silver tab (2 tabs for resistors and attenuators) soldered to the chip contact then encapsulated by an epoxy glue protection. the flexibility of the silver tab associated with the tab attachment creates a very strong construction.

3. stripline terminations, resistors and attenuators
the workshop has started to manufacture high power resistive loads for microwave using thick film printing techniques in 1982. diconex owns now one of the largest iffer stripline products in the market from 10w to 800w. standard 50ohms loads are associated with 50 and 100ohms resistors, many other values are manufactured. originally designed in beo for high power applications in broadcast transmitters, the products are also available in aln. many models are low vswr optimized for digital tv applications. different constructions are offered: thin film resistors for pulse power radar applications, low capacitance resistors to facilitate customers designs, high temperature brazing techniques stripline flange termination and high power remote termination complete the range. all products are now lead free and comply rohs and weee european directives.

4. smt terminations, resistors and attenuators
diconex introduces now a complete range of smt products. they have been designed for wireless applications like power amplifiers. it includes al2o3/aln/beo terminations, resistors, and attenuators. they have been developed for surface mount technology, dimensions are standards ones :2.54*5.08mm/6.35*6.35mm/9.4*6.35mm, so their soldering pattern is the same than most others smt products of the market. to facilitate the soldering, contacts can be tined plated over a nickel barrier. they are available on tap and reel packaging, to allow the use of pick and place machines. the soldering on the pcb can be achieved by reflow ovens with lead free profiles.
